I've been going through the English sentences tagged "@needs native check". Many of these sentences are translations from Japanese, which I don't speak. Often, I'd like to know what the Japanese means. It would be helpful if I had one or more people to whom I could direct questions about these sentences. If anyone wants to volunteer for that, please either let me know here on the Wall, or send me a private message. Thanks a lot!
I'll be glad to help.
Great, thanks!
If you have time, please take a look at these English sentences added by user Astink who is now inactive, thus the sentences are available for adoption: https://tatoeba.org/eng/activit..._of/astynk/eng
They're all translations from Russian. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Thanks!
Selena, I'm going to be focusing on going through the "@needs native check" sentences for the next few weeks, possibly months. It's a task that a corpus maintainer or admin needs to do, because it involves deleting tags (among other operations). By contrast, adopting sentences is something that any user can do. I hope that if any English speakers want to do it, they will go ahead.
OK.
