The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages has been a way of standardizing the levels of language exams in different regions. There would be a way to classify our sentences into their levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2)?
Actually, I've tried to do that using this site: http://www.englishprofile.org/
It turned out to be not an easy task, because most work have to be done manually. If you have any ideas how to make it easier, please tell.

Great job.
Are you planning to develop it, using also grammar criteria? Do you attribute only one single level to each word?
May I ask which software do you use to sort out the sentences?

< since that would require a lot more manual labor>
That's. Lots of manual labour is the main problem of the initial task given by Ricardo 14. Perhaps some software could make the task easier, but it's needed to be written before.
