What's New on Tatoeba? - Your weekly recap °14


※ The (un)linking feature has been added to the new design. Thanks to TRANG for the implementation and to everyone who gave their feedback.

※ The "Activity timeline" has been moved from the "Contribute" menu to the stats block. Thanks to gillux for the modification and to all the people who discussed the reorganization of the stats block.

※ The language level bars displayed on the "Languages of members" page have been fixed. Thanks to sabretou for reporting the issue and to rumpelstilzchen for fixing it.


※ sharptoothed shared some stats graphs

※ jegaevi volunteered for recording Hungarian sentences and opened a public list for people to add sentences to record

※ Eremon discussed about orphan sentences and Tatoeba ways of contributing in general

※ pastelite wondered what we should do when one sentence can have several translations

※ mramosch discussed about audio and a personal initiative to increase the number of audio recordings


※ 19 400 sentences have been added this week.

※ On pastelite's request, Isan has been added to the list of supported languages

※ On fj_nambala's request, Tonga (Zambezi) has been added to the list of supported languages

※ Thanks to MarijnKP's efforts, Gronings is now available as a U.I. language.

※ And as usual, thanks to all the members who helped translating the website.

Thanks for the recap, Aiji! But somehow, I can't unlink sentences even being a CM - I've noticed that when I tried to unlink

I've noticed that I had to click on the "mini-arrows" to be able to (un)link sentences lol
