As a small side note on the current discussion, let's have a look at those two searches

https://tatoeba.org/fra/sentenc...o=&sort=random
So.... 1.2 million English sentences... The results of the two searches above don't even sum up to half. That's ridiculous. If you think that this phenomenon is normal, you either have a problem with language understanding, or don't know or care anything out of your English.
And when you argue, please support your arguments with facts and numbers. No need to bring your truth on Earth like "People want this so they do that", this is not a classroom nor a church.
P.S.: Those are STANDARD English sentences. We shouldn't need to look for such a complicated search to find standard English sentences.
