That's an excellent idea, I think he would be very happy about this.

Mahtava juttu! Onnittelut hyvästä työstä.

About vocabulary requests: The contribute menu above has an item titled 'Add vocabulary request'. Can we change the label on the item?

First, all the other items on the menu are in plural ('Add sentences', 'Translate sentences' etc.), so I'd like to change the item in plural form, too. Second, when you click on the said 'Add vocabulary request', you will be directed to existing vocabulary requests page. To me that suggests that through this menu your are primarily supposed to *fulfill* the requests, not to add new requests. So, I suggest the label on the menu item should rather be 'Fulfill vocabulary requests' (or if space is not a problem 'Fulfill/add vocabulary requests'.

Edit. Or can we have both items in the menu? 'Fulfill vocabulary requests' and 'Add vocabulary requests'. Or is it too confusing?

OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and Firefox 47.0.

Could it be my screen resolution? If it's smaller than yours.

I don't know if this is problem in other languages than Finnish, but the word "syntymäpäivä" (birthday) has a strange line break after the last letter:

SYNTYMÄPÄIV
Ä

Thank you for adding Northern Sami to Tatoeba! Now we just need to get a native speaker who can contribute and add more sentences. :)

I was just thinking about the icon that was chosen to the language. It's a Sami flag and that's perfectly fine, but there are also other Sami languages/people than Northern Sami, for example in Finland three different Sami languages are spoken: Northern Sami, Inari Sami and Skolt Sami. I think it's fine for now that we have only one sami language available, but if/when other sami languages are added, I guess we need to do some changes to the icon to make a difference between the languages.

I really don't know! :)

I guess it would be better that you can only decide in your settings wheter you want to rate the sentences or not by yourself, but ratings given by other persons would still be visible for everyone next to each sentence.

Silja Silja 12. elokuuta 2015 12. elokuuta 2015 klo 8.04.46 UTC link Ikilinkki

Only the ones that have the rating feature activated can add them but also see them. Your ratings don't disappear anywhere when you deactivate the feature, you just can see them anymore.

When I add a new sentence, I can't review it on the add a new sentence page (https://dev.tatoeba.org/fin/sentences/add). Nothing happens when I try to click on the review icons.

Or am I even supposed to review my own sentences? I can do that, if I open an individual sentence page. Is this a bug?

And if I'm supposed to review my own sentences, wouldn't it be better that the sentences I add would be automatically reviewed as correct? I'd expect that if someone adds a sentence to Tatoeba, they must think it's correct.

Silja Silja 3. elokuuta 2015 3. elokuuta 2015 klo 9.33.51 UTC link Ikilinkki

I think this a better approach than just having correct/not sure/incorrect.

Sorry, I haven't been using browse by language page (which seems to be the only page where this happens) for ages, so really can't tell when this appeared for the first time.

Silja Silja 28. heinäkuuta 2015 28. heinäkuuta 2015 klo 8.02.07 UTC link Ikilinkki

There's something wrong in the way multiple Finnish cases are handled in the string "unknown language" of the Finnish interface translation. For some reason all of them are shown and not just the first one as it should be.

>* Indonesian has been added as a user interface language.
Tooltip for "Edit sentence" icon is not translated. Or actually how can I know, because I don't speak Indonesian. Maybe it actually should be "edit" also in Indonesian. :)

Silja Silja 12. heinäkuuta 2015 12. heinäkuuta 2015 klo 23.05.06 UTC link Ikilinkki

Is it only in dev or already in production? Because I still can't change the language from a known language to an unknown language.

Silja Silja 12. heinäkuuta 2015 12. heinäkuuta 2015 klo 13.33.37 UTC link Ikilinkki

I have some problems when I browse the sentences: When I browse any list of sentences (for example when I make a search, a specific user's sentences...) part of the screen kind of freezes and shows some text from other part of the same screen or from some other tab I have open. Here are a couple of examples: http://pasteboard.co/1U67YYj7.png, http://pasteboard.co/1U6bduJJ.png, http://pasteboard.co/1U6eOqq9.png

I haven't notice this happening on any other webpage than in Tatoeba. It could be that this is not about Tatoeba, but rather my browser or laptop, but I just thought to let you know.

Another translation trouble with the first line of this error message:

"Translate a Esperanto sentence into unknown

There is no result for this search (yet) but you can help us by feeding the corpus with new vocabulary!

Feel free to submit a sentence with the words you were searching."

First of all, I think it's somewhat misleading: I chose from the "show translations in" drop-down option "none". So, the translations are not unknown, I just didn't define the language of the translation. Also, I think the current one sounds strange in English without the word "language", not to mention in Finnish. It would be better if we would't use transifex sting 454 in this case but rather had a new string with words *undefined language* in it.

Silja Silja 5. heinäkuuta 2015, muokattu 5. heinäkuuta 2015 5. heinäkuuta 2015 klo 17.19.52 UTC, muokattu 5. heinäkuuta 2015 klo 17.29.11 UTC link Ikilinkki

I have trouble translating this sting: "{action} sentences having translations that match all the following criteria." I need to have different case on word "sentences" depending on which word comes before it, "limit to" or "exclude".

How can I translate this properly?

Edit. I guess I managed to translate it now in a way that makes sense.

Add Finnish as a translatable language in wiki.
