I actually meant to put cowl or cloak instead of "clothes" as that matches 衣 (ころも) better. Would it be a problem if I changed the English?

I'm happy with "robes".
Since 衣ばかりで和尚はできぬ is being used as an example of both 衣 and 和尚 I wanted something a bit more literal.

衣替え doesn't have any examples in wwwjdic

Thanks. I've included one and am chewing over the other.

Both bunbuku and small_snow would very likely create sentences including words that don't yet have example sentences.

Perhaps you could create a page on your website with requested words and ask them.

Maybe you could compare missing words with a frequency list and ask them to do sentences for higher-frequency words first.
