We don't usually link 2 sentences in the same language unless they have exactly the same meaning and would be used in same situations.

It seems to me that the two sentences mean exactly the same thing, although I'm open to discussion/unlinking if anyone disagrees.
"Protect her from danger." should be linked to the French sentences "Protège-la du danger." and "Protégez-la du danger.", as it is a correct translation of both.
