Doesn't this sentence mean "there's a children's area over there"? There's a subtle but clear difference between that and the linked English sentence, although it may not be of importance in a real environment.
I think the current translation is accurate. I would use the same words for "there's a children's area over there". Because of differences in tenses between languages, there will often be some loss of information in translations.
