Question about index list.
I want to see an alphabetical list of say German words. Not sentences, but just words.
When I notice a word which I do not know and which I wish to learn, I click on the word and see a German sentence with this word.
I have a book with pairs of sentences, and this book includes two indexes for both languages with corresponding page numbers. It is very convenient for finding and learning unknown words.
Is there such functionality on the website or via API?

Tatoeba Stats, Graphs & Charts have been updated:

Cool. Couldn't these be linked somewhere on the website?
Well, I don't mind. :-)
Yeah I always find it difficult to find the link.
Tatoeba doesn't have an active live-time chatroom. Discord servers are popular and convenient, would it be nice if we create a server for Tatoeba on Discord?
I'd be in favor of something like this. However, I'm not sure whether Discord is popular worldwide / among other Tatoeba users. Perhaps a group over WhatsApp, Telegram or even IRC would be more likely to draw interest. I'm curious what others here think about this topic.
Tatoeba has an XMPP chatroom, see https://tatoeba.org/contact
It is rather quiet, but I believe most of our workflow does not require live interaction anyway.
Btw, the link to the Facebook group on that page is wrong. It should be https://www.facebook.com/groups/129340017083187
i recall being in a discord server about tatoeba, there wasn't much activity though so i left soon after

Hello, is there a method to do the following?
search for exact word: =word
learning/searching in: from=hungarian
native language: to=english
only show results where both of these are true:
there is an audio recording in hungarian
there is a text translation in english
the audio=yes option only seems to enforce if there is *any* audio, not audio of the word i search for in my learning language; i would think almost anyone using this filter is expecting it to enforce it for the learning language
thanks for any help and thanks for this amazing website
Here is an example that matches your need.
The situation you mentioned might be because you were limiting audio=yes to translations, instead of sentences. There are two audio=yes options in the advanced search, you can see the example I give for only limiting Hungarian sentences with audios.

I can't believe I missed that -- I really appreciate your response -- thank you!
Dear Team,
I am writing to respectfully request that you consider including Cantabru (Cantabrian) as a supported language on your translation platform.
Cantabru is a traditional language of Cantabria with significant cultural and historical value, and it is still used by many people today. Adding it to your platform would help preserve and promote this linguistic heritage, while also serving a growing community interested in using and learning the language.
I believe your platform would be an excellent space to give visibility to Cantabru (Cantabrian) and support its use in digital contexts.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration. I would be happy to provide any additional information if needed.
Best reardgs,

Once you've added more sentences, you can apply for the role Advanced Contributor (More details here: https://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/art...contributors#) and then you can add the tag "@change" and a corpus maintainer will change them. Although there is no Greek corpus maintainer, I think any corpus maintainer can fix errors such as punctuation. I will add the @change tag to the sentences you've commented on, thank you for identifying them!
Thanks for adding "@change" tags. I know about Advanced Contributors, but I guess it will be summer until I've got the 1000 sentences collected...
Du könntest auch eine List erstellen, die aus jene Sätze besteht, und dich bei einem der Moderatoren melden, die regelmäßig Sätze mit orthographischen Fehlern in Fremdsprachen korrigiert, z.B. Vortarulo.
Oh ja. Eine Liste könnte eine gute Idee sein. Ich hab' mich mit den Listen bislang noch nicht beschäftigt. Mal sehen... Danke für die Rückmeldung!
