What about "Indian summer", too?
I left it out because I saw this on the corresponding Wikipedia page:
As of January 2020, the "Indian summer" entry in the glossary of the American Meteorological Society reads, "The use of this term is discouraged. It is considered a relic of the past and disrespectful of Native American people. The recommended term to describe this phenomenon is Second Summer."
But it is a common phrase.
I think "Second Summer" is not the same as "Velvet season".
