No problem at all. It’s a perfect sounding German word and the grammar is correct, too.

I would definitely use it, if just somebody understood it south of Hamburg ;-)

The only reason, for dumping the recording would be, if some ‚German‘ German speaker said, that it sounds implausible in the context of an Austrian/Swiss intonation/voice.

There are many Austrian expressions that sound just ridiculously funny and off when a speaker from Germany incorporates them in their sentences, just because these expressions sound cool.

So when the true intent of the word gets lost because of the fun aspect that gets introduced by the ‚wrong‘ source voice, then I might suggest to get rid of the recording.

If it’s the case with ‚herumdölmern‘ feel free to redistribute it to a voice from North-Germany and exchange my sample later on when a substitute is available.
