Only one question: you referred to the "New Chinese Year" as
العام الصيني الجديد
Does it mean (also in Arabic) "the beginning of the new year"? I'm not sure, therefore I'm asking.

(I know it means in Arabic "the new Chinese year"; do you also use this term when you refer to the "New Year's Eve"?).

I guess it has the same meaning. A new year could have 365 days or 354 days depending on the moon, astrological stars, etc..and of course which calender one follows. For example, in the UAE we follow the Gregorian calendar (Christian calendar), whereas in Saudi Arabia they follow the Hijri calendar (Islamic calendar). So the New Islamic Year is referred to in Arabic as the العام الهجري الجديد :)
