nota bene : la répétition de " locale(s) " est ici apparemment incontournable (s'il y a une autre possibilité, je suis preneur) ce qui donne une répétition très inesthétique, rare en français, qui tend à les éviter.
Un français aurait sans doute dit : Notre station de télé locale effectue un assez bon travail de couverture des nouvelles de la région. Mais ça serait trahir un peu le sens, pour véhiculer un semblant d'élégance qui n'est pas présent dans l'original.

On doit traduire aussi le style, même le plus pesant...
