Se puede formar hollin y alquitran sobre todo si hay malas combustion o quemas combustible inadecuado, madera humeda, aceites, plasticos, etc.

es dificil de prender pero puede quemarse si le llega una llama potente.

Es uno de los motivos para deshollinar la chimineas
