Could you add a short explanation of the above sentence?
Oh... I thought that it could mean something else if it is put like that, in this word order. Something like:
I would say Tom is capable of that.
I would say Tom may be right in saying that.
etc.
Thanks. At least I know now that the above variant should be construed exactly as "I'll give that to Tom" or "I'll give it to Tom".
