Can you describe the meaning of this sentence, @CK ?
Annotation:
This is one way this sentence would be used.
Tom sees Mary coming toward him and he points to a car driving away.
"There goes your ride."
This means Mary was either planning on, or could have ridden in that car, but the car has already left.
It could also be a motorcycle, I suppose, but not likely many other forms of transportation.
