"novel" bedeutet "Roman". Eine "Novelle" wäre im Englischen eine "novella".

Doppeltes "durch" ist kein schöner Ausdruck.
Entweder "... werde ich mich durch den Roman gelesen haben" oder
"... werde ich den Roman durchgelesen haben."
