Under Tatoeba policy near duplicates such as this are not deleted (but they _are_ removed from those used by WWWJDIC). In this case I think a reminder that 言う can be said as ゆう is not a bad thing to have.

実際の発音どおりに書かれた「ゆう」を、near duplicates として残しておく方が、日本学習者らのために良いというのであれば、それ以上反論するつもりはありませんが、意見は書かせて頂きます。

日本語は現在、若い人達を中心に急速に変化しており、それを自然な「変化」と取るか「乱れ」と取るかは意見の分かれる所ではありますが、発音どおりに書く事を許容していけば、近いうちに例えばこの文は、「彼わ英語わゆうまでもなく」となっていくでしょう。それも変化として受け入れなければならない時代がやってくるのかどうか分りませんが、少なくとも現時点での私にとっては、このように発音どおりに書かれたものを見た時、小学生が書いたもののようにしか見えないのです。

最近「you're」をよくて(?)、「your」、わるくて「UR」と書く人が急激に増えているから、qahwaさんの気持ちがよく分かります。こんかいは「non-standard」のタグを貼って、コメントに正しい書き方ではないことをはっきり書いておくから、それでいいでしょうか。

Swiftさんのコメントがメールで届いたので、久々にこの例文を見ましたが、やはり私には「ゆうまでもなく」は耐え難いです。これが日本語の例文として掲載されるのは納得がいきません。
他の日本人の方々のご意見をお聞きしたいです。
