NNC + accuracy of English rendition.

I'd rather say "что я люблю именно её" or something like that to make it clear "it was her that I loved", not just "I loved her".

My main reason for posting this sentence in particular was to show that with this Russian sentence, the word "её" is where the emphasis lies, that is, "it is her that I loved". We had a long discussion, and this sentence is a result of that discussion. ☺

But please add your own variant as well, as it's also important to have it in the corpus.

Russian is very flexible language, unlike English. You can freely say: "Я решил сказать ей, что люблю её", "Я решил сказать ей, что я её люблю", "Я решил ей сказать, что люблю её", and much more :)

in the sentence "Я решил сказать, что её люблю" there is a little stress on её, but if you really want to emphatise it, it's not enough, in my opinion. When we speak, intonation helps us to understand what is stressed, but when we write, it's more difficult.

For me, this sentence sounds more like a line from some verse than something from real life. :-)

I agree the phrasing exemplified here is not very common, but I don't think it's so uncommon that would warrant giving it a stylistic tag.
Of course it is usually a spoken line rather than a written one, but we are at a learner's resource and it is helpful to have such examples demonstrate the many ways one can say a thing.
