This is a very common word in Hebrew. It means "thanks", or "спасибо" ;-)
I bet it has been posted too many times on Tatoeba already.

Also, there is no period at the end of the "sentence".

Yes, it's surely a duplicate (as it's the usual Hebrew word for "thanks").
I believe it can be deleted.

silly me; I should have realized that removing a sentence was going to be difficult, and the deduplication code wasn't yet available.

this entry was intentionally left without a final "dot" to serve as a test case for something that was missing on the edit widget code, and which will normally insert the dot at the beginning and not the end of the sentence for languages (like Hebrew) that are written right to left.

@selena777 hope that helps at least explain the following:

* why this sentence wasn't linked to any other
* why it was obviously the same as the one that I linked to my original sentence
* why I contributed both sentences instead of linking them to an existent one (since I can't link myself with the profile I have, and I am not a contributor for long enough to be granted that)

I think you should add either a period or an exclamation mark. Then it will be merged automatically with another version of the sentence when the duplicate-merging script runs.
