I think it's an okay translation. "Tasty" is always an opinion, so when you say "X is tasty", people generally assume that it is tasty to *you*. I wouldn't say "chocolate cake is tasty" because I don't like it, even though most people would consider it to be tasty in general.
ok i need to confirm with my friend, but in the context i remembered to have hear this expression in Chinese was that the dish exactly the way one's like. Maybe something like "Oh this way with not too much black pepper". I don't know if I explain well :)

I just checked with my wife, a native Chinese speaker. She agrees with sysko that the Chinese carries much more "to me" and "perfectly matched" nuance than the English does.
