I was asked a question about this sentence. Perhaps you could leave an "annotation" comment explaining the meaning a bit.
* Is this just a polite way to say "old women?"
* Does this imply someone who is older than Tom?
* Could this be any woman who is not a child (or acts childish), but has become an adult?
etc.
Annotation:
"Mature" in this context could mean any of the following, possibly in combination:
- not childish
- not young
- older than Tom
It could be used in either a positive or sarcastic sense.
Thank you for helping me, both of you.
It's me who asked CK about it. Now, I was able to add four translations. Perhaps I was a little too greedy. Thank you. :)
Thank you for the translations! :)
