je trouve cela discutable :
Si Mister Mitchell est anglophone, comme son nom semble l'indiquer, il ne change pas forcément de civilité quand on parle de lui dans une autre langue...
On dit par exemple "Lady Diana" même en français, et non pas "Dame Diana".

Oui peut-être discutable en effet pour les nom anglais.

Je vois "Mr." ou "Mr" utilisés pour des nom japonais (Mr Suzuki par example) dans d'autres phrases de Tatoeba. Je pense que "M." est plus correct pour les nom qui ne sont pas d'origine anglaise.
