How is it wrong? Navajo/Dine pronounces a warm welcome similar to "Yachteee" pronounciation. Was it mispelled?

Tatoeba is about offering usable sentences. This isn't a usable sentence per se; it's a collection of several variations. The correct way is to link them to the target sentence as three separate sentences.

@daviddenboer, thanks for the contribution, but please re-add it as 3 variants.

The rule 9 of the contributor guide explains why sentences with variant1/variant2 are not accepted on Tatoeba: http://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/arti...tor-in-tatoeba

Thanks for the understanding.

More complicated as that, 123xyz ;-)

First it is goedemorgen, goedenavond, goedenacht (so the accusative "n" remained only in "goedenavond" because "avond" starts with a vowel.)

Second: goedemorgen and goedenavond can be used as translations of "hello", but "goedenacht" cannot. "Goedenacht" is only used when people leave each other, not when they meet. If they meet, even late at night, it's "goedenavond".

So, is the navaha word used only when people meet? Then this sentence should be split up to 2 sentences:

-Goedemorgen
-Goedenavond

David, if you don't know how to do it, I can do it for you.
