На территории России сайт Татоеба доступен только через впн? Это везде так или только в моем городе? Роскомнадзор не банил его официально. Возможно админы сайта тайно ввели политическую цензуру? Кто то знает ответ?
Скорее всего это проблемы подключения к сервисам, на которых стоит Tatoeba, что может быть вызвано блокировками РКН (будь то напрямую или косвенно). Я замечал, что сайт то открывается без проблем, то зависает, то не грузится без VPN вовсе. Вряд ли админы вводили цензуру.
Попросил роднюв Сибири проверить. Тот же результат. - белый экран подзеленым заголовком Татоебы. Если это проблемы сервисов - то по сути это цензура Гугла. Получается что Татоеба стоит на сервисах форумов и Гугл ее режет в рамках общего подавления форумов.
У меня наоборот Татоэба недавно заработала без vpn. А до этого несколько месяцев не работала. Живу в Сибири.

May I ask what is Translated by Tatoebans? I often see that list but I have no idea on what it is.
It was just all the sentences that had been translated by someone other than the person who added it. I found it helpful.

Any chance we could do something with these sentences?
I'm by no means fan of Putin, but their existence makes some people think that Tatoeba is a laissez-faire zone where you can write anything. (E.g. it was used as an example that 'anything goes' on Tatoeba when discussing #8323072)
If the structure is considered an interesting example, maybe we could replace the name with some placeholder? (Ideally some fictional name that no one in the real world uses?)

Einstein was a public figure, and no one is going to be antagonized by a statement that he was a genius, so we don't need to discuss such a sentence further.
The other sentences mentioned above have already been marked red, meaning that they don't show up in default searches or in downloads. Thus, they have been dealt with.

Hello @admins, my friend Ervin Hogdson sent a request for adding the Rama language. This is spoken in the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua, it's a Chibchan language. I don't know if here it the right place to ask, I hope I am not inappropriate. I just want to follow up. I also know you guys are too busy doing other stuff.

It's part of the Tatoeba wiki, which means you can find it by using the link "Tatoeba Wiki" at the bottom of any page.
From the introduction: "A new language should be requested only if the requester is planning to add a substantial number of sentences in that language."
Ervin should set up a Tatoeba account and follow the procedure described on the page.
