En fait non c'est plus subtile que ça c'etait "pour Trang c'est quoi 'une phrase admissible dans Tatoeba' = ' on verra plus tard' " tout comme "quand bannit-on un utilisateur" "quand supprime-t-on un message a caractere offensif" etc. etc.

D'un autre coté Trang n'a jamais supprimé une seule phrase de son plein gré. Elle a fait beaucoup de bon travail, mais force est de reconnaitre qu'elle n'a jamais brillé par la prise de décision tranché. Il est à noter que la possibilité meme de supprimer une phrase n'est apparu que plusieurs mois après le debut de ma contribution au code du projet. Donc oui pour Trang on pouvait tout garder.

En Français par exemple tout peut etre phrase, "Qu'elle est le mot écrit au tableau" "Poule."

J'ai toujours été pour que dans le cas ou une personne voulait ajouter une phrase comme cela, soit, mais qu'il ajoute un peu de contexte (comme ici le dialogue environnant)

I'm busy these days finishing to handle everything before my holiday vacation
(I've changed home, finish to correct some final exams, write a final end of the year report) which should take me two or three days, and after this I will be free for 4 months. So don't worry I've been or still be a little late to reply to messages recently

Note to myself: create an archive of all the audio files (and once it will be done if someone can create a torrent of them that would be nice)

the vandalism problems have been fixed, so now it's only because i didn't found time to put the updated version of the interface texts on launchpad (actually once again that's one of the process that was handled by Trang and for which i need to find again how it works, though i'm pretty sure that somewhere in my mails it's explained)

at the end of the month i'll be in vacation for 4 months so at the beginning of july I should be much more available.

I've been able to install the deb on my ubuntu 10.04 , after I get some exception while recording, after for the capturing audio part as it's written in python and it's GPL code, I know that anki (also in python and GPL) has already managed to write a multiplateform code to capture audio, so maybe by replacing the current code by the anki one ?

Hello while browsing the web I've found someone made a clone of the shtooka recorder that, according to the author, works on linux (debian/ubuntu actually)

The software seems to be written in python, so if it works fine on debian/ubuntu it should be not that hard to port it to mac/windows

Actually yes in the future we will have something dedicated to metada and one of this meta field can be about this (the new architecture I'm building will not restrict us on what kind of key=>value metadata we can provide)

In parallel of tatoeba I've already started with a friend to think and code about some software to decompose the sentences into their grammatical strucutre /semantical field of the words

After we can imagine with a mix system of computer-learning/user proofread we can easily increase a lot the rate at which we add this kind of metadata.

After you'll also have the case of a user that then for personnal reason find that he will not have the time anymore to take care of the sentences, the instead of letting them "adopted" which make people think that's there will be someone behind that will may answer to comments.
