My opinion: wait and see. See, what others do, what happens. If you ask lawyers, they tend to complicate matters.

hello Fernandez,
interesting subject!
But I see a big problem for you:
Making a capsule and sending it somewhere is relatively easy, the cost is les than 10 million $.
But for the ETI, how to find it, that is almost impossible, may take millions of years.
I think about SETI by radio messages.
The speed is that of light, so much higher than that of any capsule.
Even then, if the ETI live in 100 lightyears away, the problem for them to hear us, is very big, SETI after 50 years of listening brought only one rezult, the wow!-signal.
I studied that problem, being also an expert professionally and as a radio-amateur.
I think I have a good idea to shorten the time for finding by a big factor.
Is there anywhere a SETI-discussion group?

Seltsame Statistik!

Why you care for "native" ? everybody is native.

I have experience with advanced talking in other countries. Gentle partners usually talk to foreigners a bit more slowly than to inlanders.
Second: when I hear politicians talk in chinese, they speak more slowly than tatoeba, much more slowly. General de Gaulle (in french) spoke very slowly and clearly , even to his french people.
Mr. Obama speaks same way, thank you Mr. President!
I do not wish stupidly slow sound, just realistically slow.
tatoeba is not for inlanders, more for foreigners, isnt it?

The sound recordings in Chinese and in Shanghainese are both very fast, too fast. We, who use them, are probably almost all beginners and we need slow, clear pronounciation.

danke.

The faster the better?
I think rather the opposite.
Quality cannot be measured by speed.

I don´t think, that such statistic is important.
I think we are not in a competition, should not make unnecessary stress.

Mi kontribuis al tiu waste of time.
