Nicht nur mir hat sich die Frage gestellt, warum es nicht Frühstücksessen heisst.
Zumindest früher war auf den Philippinen der Reis (auch Mais) das Täglichbrot. Und in der Früh hat man den Reis gegessen, der vom Abend noch übrig geblieben ist = bahaw.
