thanks for both tickets, Ricardo :)

second request: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/301
This has become necessary after the implemention of https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/674
I posted a better explanation for this issue here: https://tatoeba.org/ita/wall/sh...#message_24305

first request: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/32
(already requested on Tatoeba Day #1)

Maybe it could be time to fix this bug, especially with the new tag system: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/301
When a new tag is added, it appears right away in the autocompletion list, but, if one has made a typo when he/she added a tag (for example, if he/she wrote "pesent" instead of "present"), the wrong tag still remains there, even when, in fact, it isn't present anymore in any sentence (so, you will still see "pesent" in the autocompletion tag), and this can be quite annoying, if you see more tags with typos, even if they've been corrected and the version with mistakes don't exist anymore

this is the procedure to follow in order to request a new language: http://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/arti...guage-request#

Would it be possible to have a link also for translations from French to Italian? In any case, it seems pretty useful

Thanks

I see. Anyways, thanks for the fix :)

Ok, then I'm changing it with these two issues, which are stricly related:
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/301
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/757
In brief, the auto-completion of tags doesn't show new tags, and removed tags still appear there

Second request: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/213

First request: https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/334
This would be very useful for users who want to add different translations to a single sentence, especially those who use tablets or smartphones

+1, I agree with every single point

+1, I do agree that improving usability for any browser (in this case, fixing some basic features usability on certain browsers) should have a higher priority, since it can greatly limit potential (and existing) contributors (in my opinion). Related bug (reported by someone else): https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/761

It appears that the major weekly indexing hasn't been performed yesterday. I noticed that with sentence #1080316, since it had the wrong flag for a long time and it has been fixed a few days ago (so it should have been included in the latest major indexing), but the search engine shows it both when searching for it both in Italian (its previous wrong flag) and in Esperanto (the current flag, which is its correct language), and it should appear only when searching sentences in Esperanto or in "any language", not in any other specific language. Also the autocompletion of tags isn't updated, since new tags created a bit more than a week ago still don't appear, while deleted tags still appear

saw it, thanks :)

I just noticed that the autocompletion of tags still shows tags that don't exist anymore (like "futuro" and "condizionale"), while new tags don't show up. Some examples of new tags that don't show up:
https://tatoeba.org/ita/tags/view_all/congiuntivo
https://tatoeba.org/ita/tags/view_all/passato

second request:
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/23
when searching for something, I guess it would be better to see if there are actually no results or if there has been a problem during the search, so that, in the latter case, people can easily report it

first request:
https://github.com/Tatoeba/tatoeba2/issues/608
having this issue fixed would be helpful for anyone, imo, since any user might want to reset his/her password for any reason

this is exactly what I meant with my first post, and this is what I often think when I proofread sentences in Italian and leave a comment if I want to suggest a correction (and maybe also other users might have the same feeling sometimes when proofreading sentences in their own languages)

>What are your criteria to figure out if a user is active or inactive?
Maybe the last time he/she made some kind of action (posted a comment, added a sentence/translation, linked/tagged sentences...)
