Is it permissible to add a sentence using spoken language? As long as it's still considered standard spoken language.

It's definitely permissible and is something I try to do a lot of. Ideally leave a comment saying that it is colloquial, and someone will add a tag who is able to do so. If no one does, feel free to message a corpus maintainer or advanced contributor.

Usually it's just absent-mindedness or bad luck :D Also, once you've written 1000 sentences, please feel free to apply to be an advanced contributor so you can tag sentences: https://en.wiki.tatoeba.org/art...d-contributors

It's been 7 years since I became a member here yet I only have 700 sentences so far, and am an ordinary contributor :D
+1 - I do that always. Some of them are ungrammatical, so I tag them as "colloquial".
I prefer to use the tag "spoken language" instead of colloquial since colloquial can be used in writing.
Haven't thought about that :O Thank you! Going to use it from now one and little by little I'm going to replace "colloquial" by "spoken language" on the ones I've tagged. :)
I haven't expressed myself properly, sorry. I didn't mean to replace "colloquial" by "spoken language" but to distinguish both. "colloquial", just like "formal" can be used both in spoken and written language. So we may have sentences tagged "spoken language" and "colloquial", others only "spoken language", etc. I guess it all depends on the language you're using (using the english denomination doesn't always make things easy!)

In Portuguese, many people write in the so-called "spoken language" way, I guess.
Let me try to draw you a picture :)
For short, we can't say "Me sinto feliz." (I feel happy / I'm happy ) because "me" is called an "pronome oblíquo". In order words, we can't call it, syntaxly saying, "subject". That said, we should say "Eu me sinto feliz." (Eu = I)
However, despite formal texts, everybody writes and says "Me sinto feliz." and it's the most natural way to say it - even some grammars hating its existence hehe
But it gets more interesting: "Te amo." You should have guessed that the "proper" way would be "Eu te amo.", but **no one** ever says or writes this way except if an emphasis is intended.
Okay now I'm a bit confused whether I have to choose colloquial or spoken language 😅
anyway, since I'm only ordinary member, will you help me tag a sentence I added as spoken language?
I only hope there's an easier way to report a sentence issue like clicking a button near the sentence, so I don't have to copy the sentence number and search advanced contibutors who can help me immediately...
