I wonder if it's really good for the community that we cannot post comments to deleted sentences. There are various reasons we want to write comments. Sometimes we want to object to the deletion, sometimes we want to continue the discussion concerning the sentence. Even if the sentence itself it deleted, related discussions can still be meaningful. Of course we can use private messages and the wall, but I think it would be most practical to simply keep writing on the same page.
