
This English sentence purports to be a translation of the Japanese 114342,
but it does not translate the particle "mo" 「も」
which in this case carries the meaning of "also", I believe.
I tried to adopt the sentence and correct it, but it wouldn't let me.

I think the English is just fine as it is.
If you were translating ...
"He is a waiter and an actor."
into Japanese then I suspect
彼はウェイターであり俳優である。
might sound odd, but
彼はウェイターであり俳優でもある。
should be just fine IMO.
