Thanks, Alan.

I'm willing to update the Portuguese strings. Many translations are clearly wrong, and some strings haven't been translated at all. However, I don't remember how to do it anymore. I'll try to find the documentation concerning this.

Maybe it's a bug of the Portuguese interface. This is what happens:

Am I the only one having an issue with the time of comments on the main page? All I see is "one minute ago".

Thanks, Trang. I guess I can live with that. ;-)

How can I link two (distant) sentences together using the new sentence design? I can't find the chain icon that could be easily found in the old design.

And to be honest, I think this new design is not very practical for maintenance purposes. Editing a sentence and changing its flag should be easier (at least for admins and corpus maintainers), but these tasks seem to be much more complicated and time-consuming now than they used to be.

I do like the way things look in the new design, but IMHO it's very unpractical.

Definitely. It's also a great opportunity for the translator to be creative. ;-)

In my opinion, it makes complete sense. The good thing about a sentence, even if it has no translations, is that it provides context, and sometimes that's all a student needs in order to learn a new word or phrase.

This is a minor detail, but the Latin flag should be displaced one pixel up. It looks cropped. There must have been a problem when the flag was changed (I was the designer and the flag was fine when it was sent).

I've proposed something similar before, but instead of writing comments, members would write their translations in a different section. I still think this is better than leaving a comment. Or perhaps we could just create a prefix, like the current @ prefix, to specify that such a comment is a translation written by a non-native speaker.

Next time, please consider sending us a private message instead. An admin is more likely to read a PM than a message on the Wall.

Since the problem is solved, I'm hiding this post.

I couldn't agree more.

Most of Tom and Mary and Sami and Layla sentences would be perfectly fine if all those names were replaced by third-person pronouns. This is what I've been doing with my Latin sentences.

I'm not saying that using names is wrong, though.

Great. This will be very useful, especially for Latin.
