Thank you. I must say your profile description doesn't contribute to your reputation. Please try to be more serious, and by doing so, you will help us much more. I try to use google, and I see both variants are in use. Then, i tried to limit ti only "smart" ones by adding "site:edu" to query - same thing - both. Then I tried to read some guidelines, like

And it seems to me that is more regular to use wihout hyphen.
I need some more convincing facts, hope you can give me some...
Or maybe we just need to apply here exactly what this sentence is talking about.

I know the hyphen is very often omitted in casual writing, but I think rules of good English usage do not allow that, if that's important to you, though it's better to ask a native to confirm this.
If we look at the link you posted, this looks like the same case as 'mass-produced' to me. The first part clarifies the second one (produced how? in mass quantities; dependent on what? on statistics), so they should not be written separately and writing them together with no hyphen would be clumsy to read.
