Why is "god" capitalised? I'm pretty sure Cicero wasn't monotheistic.

This phrase taken from the book "De nātūrā deōrum" ("On the Nature of the Gods", and here name is capitalised only because it's a book title).

I don't know but I feel that this is somewhat of an accepted translation.

They I suggest capitalising Deus in Latin translation to majuscule too. These weren't differentiated in Latin in that time anyway. ^^

XXXIX.
