The English sentence is a rhetorical question, and that seems to have been lost in some of the translations, including the Russian and Indonesian.
Basically, it is saying this: "Duh, obviously I'm not a robot! How could I possibly be a robot?? If I were a robot, I would hardly have dreams now, would I!"
So, I believe a more accurate translation is this:
Как я мог бы быть роботом? Роботы не мечтают.

The Russian sentence is fine as it is. It's the most natural way to convey the idea.

Thanks, @marafon. I'm not a native speaker of Russian. If that's the same meaning, all good.
