Reason for indirect link with "Quiero plata" (#1669635):
The Spanish sentence "Quiero pasta" (#1669640) is using "pasta" as a Castillan slang term for money, much like how "Gimme that cheddar" means "Gimme that money"
"Plata" (silver) is another slang term for money
But I don't think that pasta is also an English term for money. Am I wrong?

Indirect links need not be exact translations.
If pasta=plata in Spanish, then all the direct links of sentence #1669640 are okay.

It was just confusing to me because this word isn't used in my region of Spanish like this, and I think the Portuguese (and maybe the Italian) are literal translations (I want pasta [as in spaghetti])
So the meaning is lost in translation because of the words used
