I know, but there`s nothing i can do about it. (It was extremely difficult for me to translate that ever into Russian, to say nothing of the English T_T. Honestly, i don't know...)

I guess you translated 都市 into "capital", but 都市 simply means city. The capital of a prefecture is called 県庁所在地.

But what about 横浜-市? Though i forgot to add "city"(市) to Yokohama, but if do it and we translate 都市 too, won't be there some tautology?

And what about "県庁所在地", do you mean that we can just translate it with one word "capital"? (If we really can do, that's just wonderful!) =)

"Yokohama" can be a translation for 横浜市, I think.
However, if you want to translate it explicitly, the construction "Yokohama City is a city located..." seems common in English. See the link below.

I don't know Japanese, but this change would make the English sound more natural to me:

Yokohama is located in eastern Kanagawa prefecture, and it’s the capital of this prefecture as well, which is situated in southern Kanto region. ->

Yokohama is located in the eastern part of Kanagawa prefecture, of which it is the capital. The prefecture is situated in the southern part of the Kanto region.
