The translation "Er sagte nichts." is definitely correct. "Er sah nichts." would be "He seeg nix." At least that's how I know it and looking through several dictionaries I couldn't find anything about "seed". However, Low Saxon is a multidialectal language and I cannot entirely exclude the possibility that there's a dialect that uses "seed" in this way. So Esperantostern should comment about this.
It is difficult, to make a decision. So I splitted it up.
I think you meant to split it up the other way round. I changed that.
