I think you understand that literally this is (approximately) "I thank you very cordially", a sentence possible, but not very often said in English, as far as I know.
"I thank you from the bottom of my heart." – a bit to pathetic in my ears, but maybe in an English translation it fits in perfectly, I don't know.
Yes, literally it means "cordially", but "I thank you cordially" sounds (to me) less common in English than "from the bottom of my heart".
I guess other native speakers will also say soon what they think about that.
And what about "I'm really thankful to you."?
