What does this proverb mean?
What do you think it means? I guess something like 'the time will come when people's wrongdoings/mistakes/anything worth criticising + any possibly dirty secrets will be revealed'.
Sometimes I come across phrases that I think mean one thing but end up actually meaning something totally different, so I can never be sure unless I ask
It's not an "official" proverb, so the meaning is up to interpretation; the metaphor at least seems transparent, not so much what you make of it.
In hindsight, you're right, my brain just doesn't want to think right now :p
