I see, it's actually the second time it happens to me, but the first time I saw it right away. However, I couldn't find a way to delete my own sentence ; if I understand properly, it is not possible for a regular user to do so, is that right ?
Added to that -if I understand properly- only trusted users can tag a sentence "@duplicate". In that case, should I simply leave the sentence with a comment hopping a trusted user will correct it one day (I mean there are so many sentences...) or should I do something special to alert them ?

I think you should not worry about duplicates. There is nothing special to be done when there's a duplicate (as of now). This is an issue that is currently being dealt with by the mods. Only mods can delete sentences. And even though they can, I think they no longer will since duplicate sentences will be merged. Moderators and trusted users can tag a sentence. Noone will blame anyone else for having duplicates.

Otherwise one can still browse through existing translations or use the search engin before adding a sentence or a translation :)
