Alternatively, the content of this sentence could be changed to "We have a wide variety of books", and "In this store, we have a wide variety of books" could be added as a new sentence.

I don't translate from English but from Japanese. Since the Japanese sentence contains "当店" (touten), I thought the translated sentence should contain such nuance too. Anyway, just by saying "we" in the right context, the same can be expressed so I don't mind adding the alternative translation too.
