Deutsch „so“ (this way) ist nicht dasselbe wie Englisch "so" (that's why).

Ich vermute, es liegt eine Verwechslung vor.

Passender scheint mir: ..., daher kann ich nicht helfen.

Sehr elegant wäre dieser Satz nicht, finde ich.

Warum nicht so: Ich bin beschäftigt und kann leider nicht helfen. ?
