I don't think this translation corresponds to the Kabyle phrase.
You gave your word. = tefkiḍ awal-ik.
Awal-im tenniḍ-t-id. = fr Tu as dit ce que tu avais à dire. /Tu as exprimé ton idée.
As @Rafik says, the translation doesn't match; the Kabyle sentence is not said in the sense of a promise:
it should be translated by something like:
→ You had your say.
Otherwise it would be unlinked.
