I suppose "I am waiting..." instead of "It is waiting..."

Would that match the German, too?
I'll be waiting ...

No, German matches the English as it is now. It is hard to think of proper context for this sentence (a taxi maybe?)

I think this is one of the early translations from Japanese sentences. Nor the Japanese, nor the English one has an owner.
"I will be waiting in the park at seven o'clock."
"Ich werde im Park warten um sieben Uhr"
"Mi atendos en la parko je la sepa horo"
"Ik zal in het park wachten om zeven uur."
Al Danepo: la tradukmaŝino de Guglo tradukas la japanan frazon kiel "mi atendis...", sed tio ne ĉiam fidindas (la maŝino montras varianton "atendas").
Mi supozas, ke ni atendu ... la juĝon de japano :-)
