Any reason why younger is in parentheses here?
Short version - (younger) should be removed from this sentence, and from the other translations.
Long version
This used to be linked to the Japanese sentence

It's characteristic of Japanese that the words used for 'sister' literally translate as 'older sister' or 'younger sister'. There is no word that just means 'sister'.
When translating to other languages it is usually better to drop the 'younger/older' bit. In this case the (younger) is an /annotation/ (and as such is against the 'no annotations in the sentence' guideline. Apart from which the Japanese sentence isn't linked here anymore.
