I think it is more natural to say "ここであなたに会うなんて夢にも思わなかった。"
Yes, and "会うとは" is also OK.

I started self-studying a few years ago, and fortunately as a native speaker of Chinese I didn't have much problem with kanji. I'm still far from fluent, though :-)
Thank you, nickyeow. I understand that you have advantages as a native speaker of Chinese but the Japanese grammar is quite different from the Chinese grammar.
That's true. I remember it took me a long time to get used to the grammar structures of the Japanese language. Particles like wa/ga and ni/de were especially confusing to me.
