Hmmm... What I mean is that nobody spent a few days in my country. Let's imagine this context: There is a delegation of co-workers who have come from Beijing. They visited our office, but nobody stayed (spent more than one day) in my country. In languages like French, for example, there is a verb (séjourner) which might be used to convey this idea.
"Personne n'a séjourné dans mon pays."
I was expecting them to "stay" (séjourner) longer than one day, but they left earlier than expected.
