Jes, I know that Nero. But the English sentence doesn't speak about taxes, but about taxpayer money. I think the difference is significant, because the English sentence emphasizes that it is the people's money. Taxes can also be levied on corporations (well, at least on my continent, I know that in the USA, billionnaires complain that they don't pay any...)
